Saw many a beautiful thing in Cuenca this weekend. A brief recap in pictures:

  1. The blue domes of la Catedral Nueva. 
  2. Beautiful street art project off Calle Larga. 
  3. Gina getting to conocer la ciudad. 
  4. AMAZING rhubarb apple pie at the Kookaburra Café (which I went to three times in 24 hours - no shame.) 
  5. Me drinking a HUUUGE cerveza negra at La Compañía Brewery. It was only $4. And it was delicious. 
  6. Singing “Mosa Mosa” with our new friends from Cuenca, Loja and Brasil. 
  7. Indigenous children dressed up in a parade for the Epiphany. 
  8. Gorgeous lake in Cajas National Park. 

I miss this place so much. I wish I could relive my vacation with my father here~
